s Video problems connecting my PC to a HDTV?

Am have problems connecting my PC to my HDTV using an S Video cable. It is a Dell Dimension E521 using an ATI Radeon X1300pro. Whenever i try to attach the secondary monitor contained by "display" and click apply it goes vertebrae to being greyed out. When i boot the computer beside JUST the S video cable attached the dell loading screen and window XP loading screen appear clearly, but when window loads the screen flickers and is black and white. I own tried adjusting the revitalize screen rate (set at 60HZ at the mo) and tried updating the symbolic card drivers with no nouns. in the Ati control panel it recognises the tv is connected but wont permit me enable it. can anyone please assistance??

I am not familiar next to the PC you have but I believe that you want to have window XP pro Media Center in direct to do what you are trying to do.

Don't quote me but I had no problem contained by doing the same as you are trying to do next to my Media Center windows.

Good luck
If your computer is broken properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
