Well unless you hold a hugely massive amount of photos, music, and videos, I would use the SATA for everything. If you really, really obligation to use some of the ATA drives, it is really up to you, do you want Windows to load a short time faster, or do you want to be able to nouns your photos, music, and videos a short time faster. Whichever you want faster, put them on the SATA. Personally I would put the photos, music, and videos on the SATA, so that I could own them all on one intricate drive, since they will most likely clutch up more room than the Windows files.
Hi there. Yeah, well brought-up question. Basically, SATA is a newer and faster technology than the ATA. So I would use SATA to hold my system files (Windows XP etc.) and the slower ATA for storage. However, if you're planning to do gaming or graphics, yeah, turn with SATA. Note, if you hold tons and tons of photos, music, videos, and your ATA hdds are small within storage .. it's better off to achieve a new hdd beside alot bigger storage capacity.

Hope this help
