ok so my comp stats are as follows:

Microsoft vista OS

1.25 Ram

40Gig HD(upgrading contained by a couple of weeks)

and 2.0 Ghz proccesor

no viruses and nil really on it it doesnt lag only shows that my CPU usage is at 100 % most of the time which does cause to wad sometimes VIstais NOT the problem cause it other showed 100%usage even before i upgrade

so bassically what can i do to win better performance out the comp

speeding up my computer?

hey i own the exatly the same configuration as you

but i cant install vista on mine

it say it cant load something

can you post a detail and facilitate me with it

and your put somebody through the mill you probably need a tentative processor to speed up

what proccessor do you have in a minute
make sure u enjoy the proper drivers for ur chipset and processor ... and try going to a raid settup on the harddrives ... thatl prolly make available u more of a speed gain than anything else short of a total upgrade ...
defrag and scan disk, should run faster
You should find what process is using 100% of your CPU. This is not normal.

You can try the defaulting windows job manager or the free Process Monitor from SysInternals (well, presently it is part of Microsoft :-) to see who/what is bloodshed your processor
Try going to www.cnet.com, and go to the download sector. Then download a ram optimizer. It is free.
I THINK YOU SHOULD CONDUCT DISK CLEAN UP, AND DEFRAGMENTER AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK!!. IF THIS DOESN'T HELP THEN TAKE IT TO A PROFESSIONAL TO GET THE PROGRAMS OFF OF YOUR COMPUTER THAT YOUDO NOT NEED!!.

I HOPE THIS HELPS!!.
I advocate you to stop any anti virus program (stop auto protection) ,Because it make your computer slow .
