Something wrong beside my PC !?

The icon on the desktop are like the ones u obtain when u ve got a folder and u dont have a compatible program. when i click the icon the programme opens but the icon are not right. only some of them are similar to that not all. It happen like this after i finshed playing Sims 2

If so, you may enjoy contracted some malicious spyware.

Run an anti-spyware program close to adaware or spysweeper. That would get rid of any nasties that would mess beside your system.
This is not a major problem at adjectives. :)



Try right clicking on the desktop, and selecting strengthen. If that doesn't work, you can try restarting the computer..
My try a good defrag program, registry repair or a simple scan/repair disk errors from Disk properties-->tools-->check in a minute option. Or System running utility. Without knowing more about your system that's the best I get. Defrag... 1st. easiest.
If you're running XP try to restore your system before the problem started. Otherwise I agree near the other answer that you have some type of spyware.
I don't know if this 'll work. If it's a program not a system shoprtcut(like MY computer. Internet explorer) right click on it, and click 'properties'. There will be three buttons at the bottom of the box so u click 'change icon'. next a list of available icon will come up. i don't know if this'll work, so please don't be pissed if i wasted ur time .cheers
