Sound Card Question.?

I just now (within the past 6-8 months) purchased an Acer computer next to the "media" package installed. This week, on every video, music or "sound" the computer make, it sounds like the computer is on helium. Not so much sped up and unrecognizable, but a short time ago very giant pitched and annoying. Could my sound card be going out already? I've run antivirus and spy sweeper and they both found zilch. Thank you in mortgage for any help.

There is a possibility that the nouns card is going out, but reinstall or update your sound drivers first. You may also want to plug phone into the speaker output just to manufacture sure the speakers aren't going bad.

try updating its drivers first, afterwards hopefully its still under warranty and you can digit something out with Acer

Usually acer is pretty worthy with that kindly of stuff

Consider your speakers. It sounds close to they may be the problem not the sound card.
