selling my dated computer, what do i necessitate to do?

Buy a software that can "truly" erase any personal information or files. You can find it at any retail store.
I'd format the intricate drive and reinstall the OS from the CD. Update the OS near all the most up-to-date security patch.
Clear history. But if he is a pro then he will be capable of go through what you did.

Even after formatting the sturdy drive i would be able to gain back some of the noteworthy files that are in the motherboard from hoary OS

If i was doing that i would clear adjectives of my Registry.

Look on google "how to clear personal files" or "clear registry"
Well go to START, afterwards to ALL PROGRAMS, then click on PC HELP & TOOLS. From here you can do a complicated recovery to erase adjectives data and programs from your computer if you want. If you do not hold anything private on it like phone numbers or credit card numbers, afterwards just grant it to him.

Also with the computer at his house, boot it up to consent to him know that it works NOW. And if goes out within a week then to be exact his problem. It shouldn't, but he may get on the internet and capture a virus that crashes his system and try to blame you.

Also for the easy 10, transport me the model number and I will tell you the upgrades your friend can buy. I can offer him this info if he is your good buddy and not a blas¨| acquaintence.
