Alright i just now changed my hard drive on my computer it be a 20gig hd with window 98 i have a 60gig seagate beside windows pro i. i be playing a game on it and the computer froze could not contl alt delete so i held the power button down and it turned rotten. I rebooted it and the promt where it say your computer was impolitely shut down continue or run window in safe and sound mode. any option and it restarts partly way threw the window loading screen suggestions?! if i put the outdated 20gig windows 98 stern it it works fine but i rather/need to have window pro help anyone?

There is probably an issue next to the digital interface on the 60GB hard disk. It should be beneath warranty so just whip it back to the store and procure a new one.
Also kind sure you are using the appropriate IDE cable. Should be a thin amazingly fine wired IDE cable.
