It depends on your plane of knowledge of pc's. If you're well-versed, I'd recommend hunting around on-line and configuring your pc base on what you think you will call for. However, if you're not knowledgeable, or a material novice, consequently the tech salesmen at places like Best Buy or the resembling can be a help. Now, that anyone said, at this time I'd recommend NOT buying a pc. Early surrounded by 2007 Microsoft will be launching Windows Vista for an operating system, and if you can wait a bit you might want to do so, so that you can draw from a pc already set up beside Vista on it. It'd be easier than buying one now beside XP, and then following having to upgrade to Vista. Plus, waiting a bit will also agree to time go by for the inevitible bugs within Vista to get worked out. Good luck.
I would step to a website to customize your own.
