If I am not mistaken, SpeedFan depends on the sensors located on your motherboard. If you were competent to install SpeedFan on your computer, your motherboard make be probably on their list of mobos they support. You can configure your program to individual read those sensors that SpeedFan utilizes for the readouts. The rest can be deleted per their instructions or setup. When you signed up for SpeedFan and timetabled your mobo, it should have given you information give or take a few what sensors it found for your mobo. Like one sensor for your CPU, 2 or 3 temperature sensors, 2 or 3 RPM sensors, etc. Just read the instructions on setting these readouts for your extraordinary mobo. Check your Bios for the status of your motherboard. Generally called Health Check, Mobo Status. Not sure. It will furnish you information about temperature, fan speeds and CPU background. Use that information to setup your SpeedFan data. Don't verbs about remote or HDD unless it shows up surrounded by your Bios Mobo Health page. Remember, SpeedFan has to report for all types of situations and masses of the sensors noted may not apply for your mobo.
