Should i capture AMD X2 +3800 or Pentinum D 3.0 near H.T for gaming PC?

Hi, i am building low budget gaming workstation. i can't decide between AMD or intel processor. Pls suggest me which one i should obtain.

Should i capture AMD X2 +3800 or Pentinum D 3.0 near H.T for gaming PC?

I'd favor the Pentium D 3GHz. You see, some games favor the Intel platform. But look at the speed of the RAM in these systems. That is where on earth the difference might be. You also want MORE RAM. If you are running Windows Vista on this NEW rig, then progress with 2GB or more.

Definitely the AMD. They're not even close surrounded by performance when it comes to gaming.
To put it simply, If your not going to buy the newer Intel Core 2 Duo's turn with AMD. The P4 and PD's use the out-of-date Intel Netburst architechture, known for excessive power consumption and fry dissapation. AMD has lowered their prices considerably since the releae of Core 2, also AMD's verbs the P4 and PD for gaming.
