I put contained by a new rugged drive and it works fine. I set my old unyielding drive as as but my computer cannot find it. It is connected with a ribbon that have 2 connectors. One in the middle and one at the train. Does the master have to be the middle one vs. the close one? tried all configurations and the puter does not see the slave. What is this cable select substitute? Might I try that? How does that work?
