I of late bought a new imac desktop and i'm lovin it, but i'm used to my antiquated PC with it's shortcuts (eg: alt + tab to toggle between programs) is within anywhere when I can find a list or some examples of shortcuts for my mac? any abet would be appreciated.

i have a Mac G5 as in good health and i love it
mac calls them aliases instead of shortcuts but its impossible to tell apart principle. and switching between programs should be on the command + tab instead of alt + tab
Ok i have a mac too. Theres the button near the apple on left side of your upright. If you hit Apple+Q at the same time the program i.e. open will close. Sorry thats adjectives I know right now. I a short time ago got my mac as powerfully.
I have a Mac too. Go to the Apple logo on the top right of the blind. Click System Preferences. Then go to Keyboard and Mouse. There will be an prospect to click Keyboard Shortcuts and it will give you a enumerate of them, and will even let you metamorphose them!

command- tab switches between running programs, F12 is dashboard, F11 is show desketop, F10 is switch windows surrounded by the same program, F9 is show adjectives current windows, shift-command-4 is nick a picture of what is currently on screen, save to the desktop, command space is spotlight. ... for a list of other nouns, check system preferences, and type shortcuts
