shuting down the workstation from the ivories?

how do i shut down my notebook or put it into sleeping mode (without using the mouse) just near keyboard. i get the drift this can be done by hitting just one or two key in the the ivories but just cant take back it?

Choose Shut down by clicking on "S"



hit enter.



It will shut down.
YOU PUSH THE WINDOWS SYMBOL THEN YOU PUSH U THEN YOU PUSH S FOR STANDBY U FOR TURN OFF R FOR RESTART ...

windows knob, then arrow up knob then enter consequently tab then enter

Hit the window key (between Ctrl push button and Alt key) then hit the "U" push button and hit enter. That will shut down your computer!

Then you can either:



Use TAB and SHIFT+TAB to move through the buttons that come up, and press ENTER when the alternative you want is highlighted.



Note the underlined parcels on the buttons. Pressing ALT+(underlined letter) will press that button ... for example, ALT+S to shut down.
1.) Either opt for the above suggestion,i.e.,

Hit the Windows key,press 'u' & next u for shut down!



2.) (Alt+F4 ) closes any currently opened pane.

This includes ur Desktop as well!!!!!!!

Hence , u can also use the above method to shut down ur PC using grand piano.
