Should I buy a Gateway next to Which of these processors is better? AMD 64 X2 5000+ or Intel Core 2 Duo E4300? All other things are equal, including price, memory (1 gb), hard drive, etc. Not polite with the systematic stuff, just looking for the better (faster, more dependable, durable) processor. Thanks!

The processor speed mode nothing in need a good motherboard next to a good chipset, for gaming turn for an AMD cpu, Itel cpu's are great for mulitasking..



Update: Jaxjag..show me one single site that shows a benchmark where an Intel cpu can pace an AMD...any benchmarking program that uses graphics to grade the cpu will put AMD at the top but we apreciate your untaught guess.
