I am trying to remove the second hd I put within to run Linux on. After much fustration my puter still wont boot if I remove it. I got linux bad and the hd seems to be mt but split into 2 partition. When I tried to reformat it one partition go fine the other got to the fall and said there be an error (forgot what exactly) but that it could not complete the process. There is alot on my 1st hd I dont want to lose so just reinstalling window isnt an option. I necessitate this hd for another puter so ur help is appreciated

Try connecting the correct HD to the head that would correspond to #1. With the Linux installation it may have designated that HD as the boot drive...Also.is Windows on your prevalent HD? if not....at hand is no operating system to boot from
