I stipulation to install a new graphics card into my Dell PC (the PC is a moment ago over 3 years old). I took the case stale and undid the four screw attaching the card but it still wouldn't come loose. What else do I want to do?
Removing graphics card from Dell PC?
Hi, dear friend, Not only the four screw are necessary to unplug the card, but nearby must be a one plastic lock. Actually these four screws release that plastic lock, first look at piece where on earth your graphics card is plugged in and you'd find that find somewhere beside a plastic lock, put up that lock and your card and that piece of motherboard would come out, then you would know how to unplug the graphics card, and plug in the trial one. Trust me there is a plastic lock, find it. Thanks!
There shouldn't be four screw holding in a graphics card. Are you sure you are not undoing the motherboard?
Most dell's I hold come across don't actually enjoy an AGP or PCI-E slot. You may need to upgrade the motherboard also.
If it is the Motherboard you are trying to replace, in attendance will be a screw or two in the middle of the board attaching it to the sideplate of the chassis.
Dude! What model is your Dell! This is impressively important! We entail to know!
take the side of find the graphics card remove it put spanking new one in install drives
firstly, do undamagingly remove hardware to wipe out adjectives existance of the graphics card, and seckondly i dont know because 4 screws isnt run of the mill for a graphics card : ).
