Which operating system does she have?
If its Windows XP,you call for the CD, Just pop surrounded by the CD and reboot. When rebooting the contrivance will detect your CD and will enunciate to press any key to enter disc options (which you do) Its really easy merely follow the instructions. Format the c:/ drive then setup window xp on it.
dont worry your d: drive wont be formatted,.. that's it.
If your gadget doesn't recognize the disc when rebooting, do the following;
Reboot, press "Delete" key or which ever push button it is to enter your Bios. It could be "F1" depending on the make,.. but usually its "Delete".
Once you enter you bios, stir in you Parameters and look at your "Boot sequence" you will see 1st boot, 2nd boot etc,.. variety sure your 1st boot is the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM (whichever has the compact disc in it) Exit and recover. reboot.
If its Windows 98 and older, freshly reboot in dos, type c:/format c:
consequently press enter. Then it will say are you sure next you type y,
that's it.
good luck!
