Reformatting a Windows XP?

Why reformat? as stated by others you will whip out your complex drive, everything will be gone.

Go to start/settings/control panal/add remove programs... and delete the programs you no longer want.

If you are having problems xp have a restore feature, you can restore your computer put a bet on to another date - before you downloaded dependable programs.
If you are going to reformat your hard drive consequently that means you are going to practically delete everything and start from cut into so you can't really decide which programs you want to hang on to and which ones you don't

You'll have install Windows XP and subsequent install those programs that fit your needs instead of have the programs that you don't want.
Reformatting will wipe the hard drive verbs - nothing will be moved out.
