where on earth can i get a router to hook 2 computers to illustrious speed internet,and how much would it roughly cost

For a wired router, you can get one for beneath $40. You can buy the extra cable for $20. I would go beside LinkSys



At Costco, you can buy a wireless router and wireless adapter kit for in the order of $100.

There are many different types of routers out in attendance and the price varies greatly. Any computer store will provide them. A router is more secure because it provides a built surrounded by firewall. It also provides routing functions and NAT (Network Address Translation) so you can have more than one computer attached to your Hi Speed modem. Not to mention that if you choose to go and get a wireless router then you can attach a laptop later. You can find a simple router for around 50.00, give or filch. Hope this helps...
